Analysis

There are no direct comparisons against the four-day sales of Volume 39, however, the volume has sold more than some volumes with five days of sales, such as Volume 25 and Volume 26. Against volumes with fewer days of sales, Volume 39 projects a stable outcome, for instance, Volume 37 and Volume 38 sold 277,936 copies and 224,735 copies in their first three days, with the latter not very far off from Volume 39’s 321,625 copies sold.

Additional Comments

Analysis
Sakamoto Days Volume 14 is up significantly against its previous two volumes with four days of sales. The latest volume has sold nearly more than double the amount sold by Volume 4 at 25,357 copies sold and has noted a 13.32% increase in sales against Volume 8. The latest result is also nearly identical to Volume 13’s 65,716 copies sold despite its seven-day sales advantage. Had the volume gone two days longer it may very likely have approached the sales figure of Volume 11 at 72,633 copies sold in its first six days or go beyond that. Therefore, this could be its best performance to date since Volume 4.

Analysis
This would be Akuyaku Reijou to Kichiku Kishi‘s best performance to date amongst its latest three volumes considering Volume 3’s shorter days of sales. The series was last seen with Volume 1 and Volume 2 selling 18,410 copies and 36,436 copies in their first week with Volume 3 selling nearly two times more than Volume 1 and would have certainly outpaced Volume 2 had it one more day of sales here.
Additional Comments

Analysis
Seihantai na Kimi to Boku‘s 5th volume performance represents a major improvement against its previous two volumes. Note that Volume 3 and Volume 4 sold 19,136 copies and 36,667 copies respectively in their first three days and six days.
Additional Comments
Seihantai na Kimi to Boku was last seen with Volume 3 at 19,136 copies sold in its first three days in February 2023, then it recorded a much stronger outcome for Volume 4 at 36,667 copies sold in six days between July 3 and July 9, 2023.
11. Owari no Seraph Vol. 31 (NEW)
by (Story) Takaya Kagami, Daisuke Furuya and (Art) Yamato Yamamoto
Volume Information
Release Date: November 2, 2023
Days of Sales: 4
Price: 520 yen
Publisher: Shueisha
Estimated number of copies sold: 26,761
Link (JPN): Vol. 31

Analysis
Owari no Seraph volumes continue to underperform with its latest volume entry recording a considerable drop in performance against its past volumes with same days of sales. Volume 31’s 26,761 copies sold is less by 75.30%, 70.25% and 59.40% against Volume 6, Volume 17 and Volume 23. The latest volume has also sold much fewer copies than even its 1st volume at 35,948 copies sold and other volumes such as the 166,086 copies sold by Volume 10 (around its Anime’s second season), both in their first three days.
This result is a strong indication of dwindling readers’ interest in the Manga, especially in the physical space, and it is unbeknownst as to how the series’ performance is like digitally. Though with the current trend in place, it is very unlikely that its digital performance would be able to help the series’ repeat its past successes, but it should allow some level of sustenance. Again, this is still its performance strictly in Japan, and its performance elsewhere is not fully known.
Additional Comments
Owari no Seraph was adapted into a 12-episode TV Anime series in April 2015 by Wit Studio and a sequel was broadcasted the same year in October, also by the same studio.
12. Koori no Jouheki Vol. 6 (NEW)
by Koucha Agasawa
Volume Information
Release Date: November 2, 2023
Days of Sales: 4
Price: 900 yen
Publisher: Shueisha
Estimated number of copies sold: 26,482
Link (JPN): Vol. 6

Analysis
There are no direct comparisons against Koori no Jouheki Volume 6 amongst its latest six volumes in four days. That said, the latest volume’s 26,482 copies sold is slightly better than Volume 5’s 30,681 copies sold in its first five days but not as good as the 43,097 copies and 40,982 copies sold by Volume 1 and Volume 2 in their first six days amid lower average per day of sales.
13. Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi Vol. 13 (NEW)
by Yuusei Matsui

Price: 480 yen
Publisher: Shueisha

Additional Comments
Please note that the volume is titled “Nige Jouzu 1335” or “Elusive 1335” in English.
Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi has consistently made its volume debuts onto Oricon’s Top 30 sales charts from Volume 1 to Volume 10, however, it has failed to do the same for Volume 11 amid strong competition, particularly against “Oshi no Ko” volumes which were recording strong performances as a result of the series’ Anime adaptation. The series was last seen with its 12th volume selling 31,038 copies in its first seven days which is weaker than Volume 7’s 50,587 copies in its first seven days by 38.64%.
Studio CloverWorks will be adapting “Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi” into a TV Anime series which is expected to broadcast some time in 2024.
14. Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Vol. 12
