Japan Top 13 Weekly Light Novel Sales Ranking: October 30 – November 5, 2023

Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! was last seen with its 5th volume selling 22,373 copies in its first five days between December 26, 2022 and January 1, 2023. Together with its pre-release sales of 9,478 copies, Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! Volume 6 has sold 30,871 copies, hitting a revenue of 40,132,300 yen (≈265.19 thousand yen).

It also has a Manga adaptation ongoing by artist Anri Sakano that is serialized in Kadokawa’s Comp Ace magazine of which some of its chapters are available for free right here in Japanese. In October 2022, the series was adapted into a TV Anime series by studio Nexus.

Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e: 2-nensei-hen Volume 10 has experienced poorer results as the 59,483 copies sold in its first 12 days fell below the performances of many of its volumes with shorter days of sales. For instance, the 10-day sales of Volume 1 and Volume 6 were able to produce 71,661 copies and 71,739 copies sold respectively and Volume 3 and Volume 9 were able to sell 76,066 copies and 67,147 copies in their first 9 days.

Isekai Nonbiri Nouka Volume 16 has slumped 13.24% and 23.41% against Volume 6 and Volume 9, at 11,371 copies and 12,881 copies respectively, all in their first week. The outcome of the latest volume is also significantly less than Volume 14 and Volume 15 which were able to sell 14,150 copies and 12,857 copies in their first five days and three days.

In October 2017, the title was adapted into a Manga series by artist Yasuyuki Tsurugi that is serialized in ComicWalker with some of its chapters available in Japanese for free right here. Isekai Nonbiri Nouka was also adapted into a TV Anime series by studio Zero-G that was broadcast from January 6 to March 24, 2023.

D Genesis: Dungeon ga Dekite 3-nen Volume 8 is able to outsold its 4th volume by 39.75%, both in their first week, however, this performance is not as great as its volumes with fewer days of sales. Volume 6 and Volume 7, for instance, sold 6,608 copies and 6,144 copies in their first four days and six days, respectively.

In August 2020, artist Miya Taira adapted the work into a Manga. The first ten chapters of the Manga are available to read for free in Japanese here, and more information about the series can be found on its official website here.

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Volume 14 has reached 90,042 copies sold in its first 38 days.

Blue Lock: Tatakai no Mae, Bokura wa. Niko・Kunigami・Hiori has sold 26,987 copies in its first 20 days.

Shotgun Nauru has sold 11,044 copies in its first 12 days.

World Order Volume 7‘s 4,259 copies sold in its first six days is not as good as its 6th volume’s 4,371 copies sold in its first five days between December 26 and January 1, 2023.

Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru. Volume 10 has achieved 13,729 copies sold in its first 12 days.
