Japan Top Weekly Manga Sales Ranking: November 6 – November 12, 2023

When compared to some volumes with shorter days of sales, Boku no Hero Academia Volume 39 has noted a drop in performance. For instance, the 11-day sales of Volume 39 which amounts to 445,237 copies is less than the 10-day sales of Volume 37 and Volume 38 at 494,579 copies and 446,766 copies sold respectively. However, against older volumes such as Volume 25 and Volume 26 that sold 406,342 copies and 397,396 copies in their first 12 days, Volume 39 has experienced a large improvement. Overall, the physical performance based on stores tracked by Oricon for the series remains relatively stable.

Copies sold for The Fable: The Second Contact Volume 9 has gone down by 7.58% and 6.92% against Volume 6 and Volume 7, all in their first week. Considering the number of days of sales, it would seem that Volume 5 may very likely be the series best debut performance thus far selling 62,789 copies in its first three days.

Note that this is the final volume of the series.

The Fable will be receiving an Anime adaptation by Tezuka Productions which is slated for airing from April 2024.

Yuru Camp△ Volume 15 has noted quite a big drop in copies sold against Volume 9 by 25.22% from 88,980 copies to 66,535 copies, both in their first three days. The latest performance is also far from what was achieved by its other past volumes, particularly Volume 10 and Volume 11 which were at 100,948 copies and 106,827 copies sold in their first four days.

Yuru Camp△ was first adapted into a 12-episode TV Anime series in January 2018 by C-Station. Then, it was blessed with several sequels and special episodes that came after. The third Anime season of the series will be adapted by studio 8bit which is set for broadcast in April 2024.

One Punch-Man Volume 29 has sold 205,411 copies in its first 11 days.

Dakaretai Otoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu. was last seen with its 8th volume, not in its first two days, but in the next seven days selling 67,420 copies between September 20, 2021 and September 26, 2021.

Dakaretai Otoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu. was adapted into a 13-episode TV Anime series that aired from October 6 to December 29, 2018 by studio CloverWorks. A film was released in 2021, also by the same studio.

Against Volume 10, which is also in its first four days, Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu Volume 13 has sold 16.16% less from 35,813 copies to 30,024 copies. Nevertheless, the latest outcome does indicate a minor improvement against Volume 12’s 34,751 copies sold in its first six days in August 2023.

Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu will be adapted into a TV Anime series by Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab and is slated to air from April 2024.

Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Itte kara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita. has experienced a 18.52% fall in copies sold for its 13th Manga volume against Volume 11, both in their first six days. The latest performance is also weaker than the 39,041 copies sold by Volume 9 in its first four days. Looking at its current trajectory, the series is suffering from a decline in Manga sales trend which may suggest dwindling readership after peaking at 58,073 copies sold for Volume 6 in its first week in June 2021.

1-nichi Gaishutsuroku Hanchou Volume 17 has sold 34.32% and 14.70% fewer copies than Volume 12 and Volume 15, all in their first week. The 27,961 copies sold for Volume 17 is also not as good as the 29,003 copies sold for Volume 14 in its first six days.

Shinjiteita Nakama-tachi ni Dungeon Okuchi de Korosarekaketa ga Gift “Mugen Gacha” de Level 9999 no Nakama-tachi wo Te ni Irete Moto Party Member to Sekai ni Fukushuu & “Zamaa!” Shimasu! Volume 10 has noted a 10.18% drop against Volume 7’s 30,348 copies sold, both in their first four days. There are no other direct comparisons, however, the 10th volume’s performance is a lot stronger than the 23,699 copies sold for Volume 3 in its first five days back in February 2022.

Spy x Family Volume 12 has reached 1,022,435 copies sold in its first 40 days.

Hariko no Otome sold 20,582 copies in its first three days between September 5 and September 11, 2022. The 25,803 copies for its 4th volume represents a 25.37% increase in copies sold against its last.

Copies sold for Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life: Dai-2 no Shokugyou wo Ete, Sekai Saikyou ni Narimashita continues to suffer from a decline with Volume 22’s 24,618 copies sold being the series’ weakest three-day performing volume since Volume 11 whereby it has fallen by 48.61%, 43.39%, 16.54% and 23.35% against Volume 11, Volume 12, Volume 18 and Volume 19 respectively. Note that this is despite the Anime adaptation and that the series did not experience any nudge in copies sold. Observe its sales for Volume 18 and Volume 19 and compare the two volumes against Volume 11 and Volume 12. The Anime aired from July 4 to September 12, 2022 (Volume 18 was released on November 11, 2022). There are times when generally speaking a boost can be seen throughout the airing of an Anime, but for this series, it has experienced none of that even for Volume 17’s 49,978 copies sold in its first five days (released on August 10, 2022).

With all that said, please remember that this is still physical sales based on stores tracked by Oricon.

Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life was adapted into a 12-episode TV Anime series by Revoroot that aired from July to September 2022.

Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru: Jakushou Ryouchi wo Uketsuida node, Yuushuu na Jinzai wo Fuyashiteitara, Saikyou Ryouchi ni Natteta Volume 13 has seen a 11.02% reduction in copies sold against Volume 10, both in their first four days. Considering Volume 13’s average sales per day, it will also be unlikely that it would have managed to overtake the 30,384 copies sold for Volume 9 in its first five days. Despite all this, the overall performance seems relatively stable.

Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru is set to receive a TV Anime adaptation that will begin its broadcast in 2024 by studio MOTHER.

The performance of Kuutei Dragons Volume 16 at 22,376 copies sold in six days is not as great as the 23,793 copies sold for Volume 14 in its first five days. Volume 15 at 25,729 copies sold in its first week is also slightly stronger than Volume 16 amid better average per day performance.

Kuutei Dragons was seen selling 23,793 copies for Volume 14 and Volume 15 on Oricon’s lists in their first five days and seven days. Prior to that, the series has not made it onto any of Oricon’s lists since Volume 9 at 37,466 copies sold in its first seven days.

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Volume 12 has reached 353,975 copies sold in its first 45 days.

Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Aalya-san‘s Manga was last seen with its 2nd volume selling 19,402 copies in its first four days between June 5 and June 11, 2023. The latest volume marks a 9.93% increase in copies sold against its last.

The 20,075 copies sold for Ojisama to Neko Volume 12 is the series’ weakest amongst its latest volumes with three days of sales of which Volume 12 has sold less by 46.55%, 50.12% and 22.60% against Volume 8, Volume 9 and Volume 10. Volume 11 too is at a stronger footing selling 30,593 copies in its first four days.

Zeikin de Katta Hon last made its appearance on Oricon’s Top 30 sales chart selling 19,680 copies in its first week between May 8 and May 14, 2023. Volume 9’s performance marks a 6% drop against its last.

Tougen Anki was seen with its 14th volume, not in its first three days, but in the next seven days at 17,381 copies sold in April 2023. The series then made its debut selling 21,225 copies for its 15th volume in four days between June 5 and June 11, 2023. However, Volume 16 was nowhere to be seen on any of the lists the Blog tracks.
