In addition, all the data you find below is accessible via Oricon right here (Manga) and here (Series). To access the sales data, be sure to click on the “Analytics” accordion and then click “Chart”. This should bring you to the Google chart page that contains the latest available sales data. Many of the titles that you see below have been discussed in the TSUTAYA’s sales chart for the same week, so do have a look at it right here. Some titles that did not make it onto the Top 30 chart were also discussed in the COMIC ZIN’s chart here. Please note that while Oricon tracks sales from a huge number of stores in Japan, the sales data below are not at the fullest since some stores do not participate in Oricon’s daily surveys. Additional Comments
The volume has sold 179,452 copies in its first 24 days.
One Piece topped the weekly series chart, thanks in large part to the release of its 104th Manga volume, which sold over a million copies in its first three days. According to Oricon, the series has earned a total of 577.71 million yen (≈4.24 million USD) from all its products tracked by the company. Jujutsu Kaisen follows closely behind in second place, with 306.27 million yen (≈2.25 million USD) in sales for the week, mostly from its Manga. Chiikawa: Nanka Chiisakute Kawaii Yatsu ranks third, earning 214.02 million yen (≈1.57 million USD) from its Anime discs, which sold nearly 19,000 copies in the first three days.
For One Piece, Manga sales accounted for the largest portion of its total earnings, although other products such as Video, Music, Books, and Novels also contributed. In the same week, the series released One Piece 20th Season Wano Kuni piece. 39, which sold 496 copies and ranked fifth on the Anime DVD chart, and its ONE PIECE magazine’s 16th volume sold 45,560 copies in its first four days. As for Jujutsu Kaisen, sales for the week only included its Video, Music, and Manga segments, with the latter being the biggest contributor.
