Japan Top Weekly Manga Sales Ranking: September 11 – September 17, 2023

In total, with the Special Edition at Number 14, Blue Lock Volume 26 has sold 184,216 copies in its first four days with a revenue of 120,274,400 yen (≈813.94 thousand USD). This result is higher by 127.88% against Volume 18’s 80,839 copies sold (prior to its Anime) but is down by a small 6.36% against Volume 23’s 196,726 copies sold (after the Anime), both volumes were also in their first four days when they charted on Oricon Top 30 for the first time. Overall, the sales trend remains stable for the series after the Anime’s broadcast.

Blue Lock was adapted into a 24-episode TV Anime series by studio 8bit which aired from October 9, 2022 to March 26, 2023. A second season of the TV Anime series is currently in the works, though its actual broadcast dates are not yet known.

The Regular Edition of Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken Volume 24 has sold 298,225 copies in its first 10 days.

Blue Lock: Episode Nagi Volume 3 has experienced a growth of 5.76% in copies sold against Volume 2, both in four days. Prior to that, the title was seen selling 44,996 copies for Volume 1 in its first week back in October 2022.

Blue Lock: Episode Nagi will be adapted into an Anime film by studio 8bit and is set to be released some time in 2024.

When compared to the 1st volume sales of 42,147 copies sold in its first week between June 19 and June 25, 2023, Hotaru no Yomeiri Volume 2 has noted quite an improvement in sales.

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun Volume 34 has achieved 120,075 copies sold in its first 11 days.

The Regular Edition of Natsume Yuujinchou has sold 66,434 copies in its first 13 days.

Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san Volume 24 has sold 5.55% more than Volume 18 but 2.21% less than Volume 20, all in their first six days of sales. The intensity of the series’ latest volume sales is also slightly less than that of Volume 19’s 24,494 copies sold in its first four days. Nevertheless, the overall outcome of the series’ debut sales since Volume 18 remains fairly stable.

The work was adapted into a 12-episode TV Anime series by J.C.Staff that aired between February 2021 and January 2022.

This editions comes with a can badge, a clear card and a set of stickers that feature original signatures from the Blue Lock players: Rensuke Kunigami and Hyouma Chigiri.

Ojou to Banken-kun Volume 9‘s 22,456 copies sold in its first five days are not as great as Volume 7 and Volume 8’s 28,576 copies and 24,940 copies sold respectively in their first four days. With that, the series is experiencing a decline in physical sales since Volume 7.

The series will be receiving a TV Anime series adaptation that is set to broadcast from September 29, 2023, produced by Project No.9.

Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja has made numerous breaches onto TSUTAYA’s Top 30 lists before, however, it was only last seen at 30,519 copies sold in seven days on Oricon Top 30 sales chart for Volume 21 and Volume 23 at 23,758 copies sold in its first week as well which saw a 22.15% drop against Volume 21. Volume 24’s sales of 20,565 copies in its first six days is an improvement against its 23rd volume.

In January 2022, J.C.Staff adapted the work into a 12-episode TV Anime series.

Inazuma to Romance was last seen with its 4th volume at 24,271 copies sold in its first six days between December 12 and December 18, 2022. The latest outcome of its 5th volume is not as great as its prior volume considering its lower per day sales on average.

Honzuki no Gekokujou Dai 3-bu was last seen with its 6th volume selling 23,198 copies in its first five days between February 13 and February 19, 2023. Volume 7’s 19,237 copies sold in its first three days is nearly identical to its previous volume.

In 2019, the series received a 14-episode TV Anime adaptation by Ajia-Do which the studio then went on to produce its next two seasons.

Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon was last seen with its 13th volume on COMIC ZIN’s list between November 7 and November 13 in its first four days, but the volume failed to chart on Oricon’s Top 30 sales chart for the same week.

Sengoku Komachi Kuroutan was last seen with its 12th volume at 16,870 copies sold in its first five days between October 10 and October 16, 2023. The series failed to chart on any of the lists the Blog tracks with its 13th volume. The latest volume’s 16,719 copies sold represents a 0.90% drop in sales against Volume 12.
