Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via Oricon right here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). To access the sales data, be sure to click on the “Analytics” accordion and then click “Chart”. This should bring you to the Google chart page that contains the latest available sales data.
Please note that the cutoff point for the Blu-ray general chart for the week was 1,112 copies while for DVD, that would be 693 copies. As such, releases that did not meet the threshold, denoted with “N/A”, have sold less than the amount stated.
The reason for the lacklustre performance of Anime releases for the weekly was mainly due to intense competition from non-Anime titles, plus the lack of new and notable releases. Some titles that failed to place on the Top 10 are Fate/EXTRA Last Encore, Bleach Movie: Memories of Nobody, Bleach Movie: The Diamond Dust Rebellion – Mou Hitotsu no Hyourinmaru and several more. Fate/EXTRA Last Encore did make it onto the Top 20 Anime Blu-ray sales chart selling under 400 copies, however the Bleach film releases did not, as such they have sold less than 230 copies.
