Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Volume 17 saw an increase in sales, with a rise of 8.52% over Volume 16’s sales of 6,560 copies. However, the latest volume’s performance is still weaker than Volumes 12 to 15, which saw declines of 14.37%, 41.22%, 25.37%, and 24.53%, respectively.

The last time the series made it onto the Publishers Weekly Trade Paper Frontlist Top 25 was in June 2022, with Volume 1 selling 5,623 copies in its first 5 days. Volume 3 also made the list, selling 4,236 copies in October of the same year. However, Volumes 2 and 4 missed out on the charts.

  1. It’s amazing to see Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun ranked first. Is it just this volume or is Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun popular in that country?

    1. Hey! It has been popular for quite some time now in the US, at least since I tracked the series from Volume 12. I am not sure about the ones before that.
