The PlayStation 5 maintains its edge over Switch for the week despite the slowdown of 13.74% in sales, bringing its total units sold to 49,945 units as Switch’s performance saw only a small increase in sales by 6.28% to 46,435 units.
The Xbox Series pressed on with its momentum with another huge gain, this time by 106.83% to 3,905 units, led by its Xbox Series S. The PlayStation 4 moved up 5.65% to close at 655 units whilst the New 2DS LL noted a 6.25% drop in sales to 15 units.

A slew of new releases have made it onto the Top 10 lists, and the vibrancy is set to stay put for next week’s edition seeing several highly anticipated titles are making their debuts, such as Persona 3 Reload and Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth easily tops the list with a combined sales of 180,074 copies for its PlayStation editions in their first three days. Note that the title is also out on Xbox One and the Xbox Series, plus PCs, with its console editions’ physical sales set to near or perhaps pass the 200,000 mark in Japan. The latest rpg, sequel to the 2020’s Yakuza: Like a Dragon will focus on the protagonist Kasuga and serves as the continuation of the events in its previous instalment. Next on the list is the all-new roguelike dungeon crawling adventure game, Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island with a good start of 85,424 copies sold in its first four days. Note that the game is set for release elsewhere on February 27, 2024. In the meantime, you can check out its announcement trailer below.
Tekken 8‘s PlayStation 5 edition is 5th on the list with 20,516 copies sold in its first three days. The latest instalment begins right where the previous title ended and with the story emphasising on Jin after his defeat at the hands of Kazuya. Head over to Number 8 and Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy graces the list at 10,593 12,697 copies sold in its first four days (including its PS4 edition at Number 28). Also out on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam, the game is a compilation of three Ace Attorney titles: Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice.
