Oricon has released the top Anime Blu-ray ranking sales for the 2nd week of August via their site. For the full list, please refer to Oricon via the link provided. This week we see tremendous sales coming in for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The movie was released last year’s December the 1st and was produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment. The list also sees two of KyoAni’s very own shows making into the top 10 list with the 1st volume of Violet Evergarden at number 5 while Liz to Aoi Tori taking in the number 10 spot. Though this may come as a surprise to many, but the recent tragedy that involved the studio seem to have not been able to dampen KyoAni’s sales. It would seem that it has instead done otherwise. Apart from that, we see Doraemon’s latest movie making into the list at number 4 and 7 respectively. This is the 39th movie of the series which was released in March this year.
