After strong turnouts for disc sales for the past two weeks, copies sold have drastically slowed down amid the lack of new releases for the week between April 4 and April 10. The Top 10 chart for Anime Blu-ray noted only two new releases being the Blu-ray Box releases of Tiger & Bunny movies and the 2011 TV Anime series which come in at Number 7 and 8 respectively. Unfortunately, copies sold for the two releases are not encouraging at all, failing to breach the Top 20 chart and selling below 400 copies each. As for others, only IDOLiSH7: Third Beat! Volume 4 managed to place a spot on the Top 20, though copies sold are down by 85.80% to 1,236 copies for its Blu-ray while its DVDs have fallen by 76.15%, putting its 13-day sales at 17,862 copies. As for DVDs, only One Piece’s latest volume being the other new release that has made onto the Top 20 with 579 copies sold in the first 5 days. Anime disc sales performance is expected to be at a slow pace the week after as well due to few new releases. One title that will be released between April 11 and April 17 would be Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki, a title that you may want to keep an eye out for.
