The overall sales of hardware has shown a decent improvement over last week’s performance of which all brands had reported a decline.
The Switch brand has recorded the biggest jump here selling 41.85% more than the week before from 42,883 units to 60,828 units. The small rise of 6.70% for the PlayStation 5 disc edition has helped the brand note a slight upgrade in momentum whereby total sales have climbed 4.80% to 27,788 units from 26,516 units.
The rest however, have reported a fall in units sold. The PlayStation 4 has plunged the hardest of them all by 57.48% to sell only 588 units whilst the Xbox Series and New 2DS LL have retreated by 9.09% and 25% respectively to 1,360 units and 9 units.

The Top 10 software sales chart has welcomed a number of new titles onto its rank for the week, led by Nintendo’s Princess Peach: Showtime! at 77,562 copies sold in its first three days. You can learn more about the game via its launch trailer below.
At Number 2 and Number 3 are PlayStation 5’s Dragon’s Dogma II and Rise of the Ronin at a close 68,592 copies and 64,646 copies sold each in their first three days. Head over to Number 4, and you will find the Switch edition of Dragon Quest X: The Door to the Future and the Sleeping Girl at 17,919 copies whereas the PlayStation 4 edition is three spots below at Number 7 with 7,333 copies. Together, that would be 25,252 copies sold in the first four days. Not to forget, the “All In One Package” edition of the title is placed 16th with 4,453 copies sold.
