Hardware sales in Japan ended the month of January on a very positive note with all, yes, all of the hardware recorded positive growth week-on-week for the period between January 25 to January 31. Sales for Xbox Series have climbed drastically with Series S up by 92.92%. Total sales for the two machines ended the week with 1,099 units sold. It’s competitor too witnessed decent climb with the Vanilla Edition of the PS5 jumped 35.17% while its Digital Edition saw units sold grew by 12.5% that week. PS5 sold 25,948 units that week.

Software sales have continued to slow down for the week, however Ring Fit Adventure continues to be the only title to see an uptrend. It rose by 13.38% for the week. Nevertheless, one new title had made onto the chart, at number 4 and 6, you will find Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny. Both of its Switch and PS4 versions sold 39,312 copies for the week.
