Sales are pretty slow going into the first week of 2020 according to Oricon latest Anime Blu-ray and DVD charts available here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). Do pay the awesome guys over in Oricon a visit ya!
Not much has changed with the list, but Japanese hunger for Disney movies are as insatiable as ever. The week sees two more Disney films added to the top 10 Blu-ray list with Tangled and Coco sitting in at number 9 and 10 respectively. Toy Story grabbed back its number 1 spot after pushing Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ a spot to number 2.
I am not sure if this is an error, however Oricon listed 3 titles sitting in at number 19 for the DVD chart. Number 20 is missing. If it is indeed a mistake and they fixed it, I shall make the edits when the time comes. That said, it could very well be that the 3 do share the same spot right? Anyway, the full list is as follows:
