Spy x Family continues its dominance on TSUTAYA’s weekly sales chart for the week between April 26 and May 1 with all individual volumes accounted for, and all recording a climb from their previous week’s respective positions.
The lack of new releases on the Top 20 is palpable with only three new volumes are found. First is the Manga adaptation of the Light Novel of the same name, Chichi wa Eiyuu, Haha wa Seirei, Musume no Watashi wa Tenseisha. with its 7th volume at Number 16 in its first 7 days. The series first began its Light Novel journey in March 2018 and received the Manga serialization in September the same year by artist Yutaka Oohori. publishing in Square Enix’s Big Gangan magazine, you can check out its first chapter for free right here in Japanese (click here for easy access).

Then at Number 18 is a familiar title, Isekai Shokudou: Youshoku no Nekoya Volume 2 is 18th at 6 days of sales. Note that this title in particular serves as an alternative to the main storyline, which is based on the Light Novel, Isekai Shokudou. In 2017, the series received a 12-episode TV Anime adaptation by SILVER LINK. and a follow up season aired between October and December last year. Finally, we have another Manga adaptation of a Light Novel sitting in at the 20th spot. Yuusha Shoukan ni Makikomareta kedo, Isekai wa Heiwa deshita Volume 6 makes its debut at 6 days of sales. The Manga first began serialization in August 2018 via Comp Ace of which several of its chapters can be accessed via Comic Walker for free right here in Japanese. Note that the Manga is also out officially in English with its first three volumes up for grabs. Volume 4 is set for a release this coming month of June.
