Gekijouban Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-hen Official Poster
Sales of Kimetsu no Yaiba’s volumes carry on with a reportedly much better performance compared to the week before, with spots 1 to 10 all taken by the title – only eight of its volumes made the chart the previous week. This situation is definitely brought about the success of its latest theatrical film, Mugen Ressha-hen which have been lighting media outlets a buzz with its stellar performance at the box office. Japan Today also reported today (at the time of writing) that the film raked in 10.75 billion yen ($102.48 million) in just 10 days, beating previous record-holder, Spirited Away by Miyazaki Hayao. Note that its final volume, which is set to release this coming December the 4th is only around a month away, thus it is unlikely that sales will stay simmered down.
