Yasuhisa Hara’s Kingdom Volume 61 witnessed the series’ weakest two-week sales among its past seven volumes with copies sold amounting to 501,865 copies at the time, which is 23.31% less than Volume 55’s 654,442 copies sold. Despite ranking on the third week, it could not push numbers beyond 600,000 copies sold though sales recovered for past volumes especially Volume 59 which saw copies sold closer to Volume 55’s performance on Week 3. Volume 62 places 1st on TSUTAYA chart for the week between July 12 to July 18, and lower sales may not bode well for the series. The few number of popular titles may allow it to have a slight advantage for the week, but the title that comes at Number 2 may prove to be a challenge.

Sales for past volumes were rather sparse for Tokyo Revengers prior to the broadcast of its Anime series with Volume 15, 17, 18 and 20 all missing from Oricon Top 30 charts, mostly due to intense competition by titles such as Kimetsu no Yaiba and Jujutsu Kaisen. This time, it became the one that presents intense competition. Predicting how many copies it will sell would be difficult, however with increasing weekly sales, we will see a steep climb from debut sales of Volume 22 to Volume 23.

The title you may want to keep a close watch on would be Number 3’s Sousou no Frieren which its Volume 5 is listed on both TSUTAYA and COMIC ZIN charts. After winning the Manga Taisho Award for the year 2021, it received a great boost the week between March 15 to March 21 seeing total copies sold for all its volume at 248,365 copies. Note that Volume 4 which debuted at the time recorded 115,912 copies sold. We may see a similar turnout for the week between July 12 to July 18, but let us be a little more positive and say that it will see an increase in sales debut-to-debut.
The remaining titles on the list are mostly dominated by Tokyo Revengers while Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken Volume 18 and Mystery to Iu nakare Volume 9 settle for 4th and 5th places. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:

Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu Volume 5 retains its Number 1 spot on COMIC ZIN’s list, but stiff competition brought upon Tokyo Revengers volumes for the week before have prevented it from making onto Oricon Top 30 chart. With Tokyo Revengers showing no signs of slowing down, it will be hard to see it placing on Oricon Top 30 chart this coming Friday.
The announcement of Kakkou no Iinazuke Anime adaptation was not felt by Volume 6 as the series saw very little change in sales debut-to-debut between Volume 5 and Volume 6. The Anime broadcast is slated to begin somewhere in 2022 with studios SynergySP and Shin-Ei Animation in charge with production. If you missed out on the promotional video, do check it out down below! Coming in at Number 4 is Ponkotsu-chan Kenshouchuu Volume 9 by Tsubasa Fukuchi who actually authored Ueki no Housoku (also known as The Law of Ueki). The week will be a testament to how its current Anime adaptation would impact sales for Number 5’s Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid Volume 13. If sales simmer down for Tokyo Revengers volumes (though very unlikely), we may see it on Oricon Top 30 chart this coming Friday. Be sure to check out the promotional video down below if you have missed it.
Further into the list and you will find Shotan’s Kimi wa Meido-sama. at Number 7 while the final volume of Kantai Collection 4-koma Comic: Fubuki, Ganbarimasu! is at Number 8 for the week. At number 9 is Kokkyou no Emilia which is a historical Manga by Kunihiko Ikeda. Sharing the same spot is Yuuichi Katou’s Yancha Gal no Anjou-san. The author also did the art for Eureka Seven AO Manga and currently has another publishing title ‘Anjou-san no Gakkou no Hokenshitsu no Komaki-sensei‘.
