Lots of new releases featuring the the week between January 4 to January 10 with many big names making into the list. The chart on TSUTAYA is led by the latest and 14th volume of Jujutsu Kaisen which should be a title that many will be keeping a close watch on. The debut sales of the title has been doing quite well but it has not been seeing a steady rise like Kimetsu no Yaiba. Nevertheless, with the Anime out and throngs of people watching, the situation could be reversed. The volume before, Volume 13 last made its appearance back in December 14 to December 20 of 2020 chart with 89,621 copies sold. Let’s be positive and say it will be selling much higher than the debut sales of Volume 13. I have made a debut sales chart for easy comparison down below:

Other than Chainsaw Man (No. 6) the titles featured may have less of a chance to appear on Oricon’s upcoming chart, however if all goes well Shuumatsu no Harem: Fantasia may be up there.
