TSUTAYA and COMIC ZIN Weekly Tankoubon Sales Ranking via Natalie: April 5, 2021 to April 11, 2021

Most titles that made their debuts the week before remain intact on TSUTAYA’s chart (though some shifts in their positions) with the exception of Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (No. 8) and Makai no Shuyaku wa Wareware da! (No. 9). Akagami no Shirayuki-hime‘s 22nd volume made its way onto shelves back in 2020, seeing 70,350 copies sold in its first week. The number of copies sold fell to 37,482 copies the second week, putting its two-week sales at 107,832 copies. Makai no Shuyaku wa Wareware on the other hand, has been seeing relatively good sales. Copies sold saw numbers climbing up till Volume 3 in their first weeks, however the title experienced a slight dip for its Volume 4. Sales were down 5.72% debut-to-debut.

It is thanks to the amazing folks over at Natalie.mu that we get to see these charts on a weekly basis, so be sure to head over to their site here and show them lots of love! Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via their post here.

As noted in the previous Oricon’s sales charts, Boku no Hero Academia, Dr. Stone, Dragon Ball Super and Black Clover all witnessed fewer copies sold than volumes before in their first weeks. This is most likely due to the volumes released for the week between March 29 to April 4 were only on sale for four days. Sales should stabilise the week between April 5 to April 11.

New Game! dropped two spots to settle for 3rd place for the week. The title’s 12th volume failed to breach Oricon’s Top 30 the previous week. One familiar title to look out for would be number 2’s Getsuyoubi no Tawawa, which has been adapted into Manga. Others you might want to check out would be Governess Nazuna-san (No. 5) and Mato Seihei no Slave (No. 9)
