The weekly Trade Paper Frontlist sees no new Manga related volumes making it onto the chart as Publishers Weekly’s list only witnessed two Manga releases out of the twenty-five spots. The best-selling Manga release for the week is Death Note Short Stories which copies sold have retreated by 26.89% week-on-week to 4,757 copies. Its year-to-date sales have now reached 27,453 copies. Then, Spy x Family Volume 7 makes a return at 4,201 copies sold after skipping the charts for several weeks. Its year-to-date now stands at 54,325 copies sold. Since it last appeared on the chart back between April 24 and April 30, that would mean that between May 1 and May 21, it sold a further 12,606 copies in the US.
What is more astonishing would be the persistence showcased by Demon Slayer: The Official Coloring Book which is now on its 8th consecutive week. Copies sold noted its second continuous rise (after last week’s jump of 17.59%) of about 0.07% as 6,894 copies were sold within the week, putting its year-to-date performance now at 55,140 copies.
