There are not that many new releases for Manga in the US that appear on the NPD Top 25 list for trade paper between March 6 and March 13 amid the lack notable releases. The week sees only three titles on the chart with one new release sitting atop which would be the origin story of Aidairo’s Toilet-bound Hanako-kun at 9,812 copies sold in its first 5 days.
Following closely behind is My Hero Academia’s 30th volume which ranked 1st the week before at a great 28,852 copies in just two days. The volume further sold an additional 9,446 copies to see it passes the 30,000 copies sold mark in the US. As for Kimetsu No Yaiba: Stories of Water and Flame which comes in third, copies sold are up by a modest 22.90% as its lifetime sales slowly approaches 100,000 copies.
