Chainsaw Man makes its final volume debut at record sales of 47,396 copies sold in its first 5 days, 39.51% more than Volume 8, 28.91% higher than Volume 9 and a small improvement of 7.71% over Volume 10. Note that its latest performance is a lot better than the one-month sales of Volumes 4 to 8, and a significant advantage over Volume 4’s 29,175 copies sold in its first 26 days while it nearly hits the one-month sales of Volume 8’s 46,860 copies in its first 26 days. The volumes in between hovered around 36,000 copies to 38,000 copies in their debut months. The series was serialized between December 2018 and December 2020 through Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump Magazine and an Anime adaptation was announced in the same month it ended.
