Analysis
Sales for Kaiju No. 8 has slipped below the 10,000 mark, the first time this has happened during the first five days of release for a volume. Volume 7’s 8,270 copies represent a drop against all of the series’ past volumes debut sales with copies sold down by almost 51% against Volume 3’s 16,827 copies sold. This signals a lack of demand for its Manga newer releases (particularly physical copies) in the US.
