Quite a number of new releases have made onto the Top 25 Trade Paper Frontlist chart with both Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen taking the two top spots for the week between April 3 and April 9. The stronger turnout for Manga is thanks to popular titles being released simultaneously on April 5th. Chainsaw Man Volume 10 edges out Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 15 as it claims the top spot at 43,743 copies sold in the first 5 days, its best so far since Volume 8. Copies sold are up by 22.97% debut-to-debut, and an increase of 34.46% over Volume 8 (all in their first 5 days). Remember that sales performance for its past volumes were volatile (like others on the list) due to issues with the supply chain amid the pandemic and as a result, copies sold were not that high. That, however, seems to have been ratified seeing most stores are fully stocked with volumes of most popular titles including Chainsaw Man and the two titles you see below it.
As for Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 15, you can observe a similar trend. Copies sold are its highest thus far at 31,060 copies in the first 5 days, 9% more than Volume 14 and 28.79% stronger than Volume 13 (all in their first 5 days). If it maintains this momentum, it may beat its February 2022 sales performance for Volume 14 which sold 50,392 copies in its first 33 days. The Manga is expecting the releases of its 16th and 17th volumes this coming June and August.

Well, the Anime adaptation is surely working its magic for Spy x Family. The 7th volume is 3rd on the list at 18,307 copies sold in its first 5 days, and check this out, that figure is evidently way higher (considering its short days of sales) than copies sold it made for the months of June and October 2021 where Volumes 5 and 6 sold 18,653 copies and 15,802 copies respectively. Kaiju No. 8 Volume 2 which is placed 4th at 14,606 copies for the week sold 27.04% more than Volume 1 in December 2021. Back then, it sold 10,656 copies in the first 5 days. The final new release belongs to the debut volume of Sakamoto Days at 5,827 copies sold in the first 5 days.
