The series sales chart for the month of November witnessed the live-action adaptation of the Manga by Takeshi Natsuhara and Kuromaru, Kurosagi taking the 1st place at 1,219.59 million yen (≈9.08 million USD) mainly thanks to the massive success of its official theme soundtrack, Tsukiyomi / Irodori that is performed by the five-member Japanese idol group King & Prince. The single sold 791,799 copies in its first 5 days which also saw it taking the Number 1 spot on the series sales chart between November 7 and November 13. Apart from the Music segment (which is the largest), the series also derived sales from its Video and Manga segments.

Top Gun is next at Number 2 with 1,216.98 million yen (≈9.06 million USD) in physical sales after seeing massive demand for its film, Top Gun: Maverick’s Blu-ray and DVD combo that made a huge and impactful start in its first 5 days, selling 121,700 copies.
Then, at Number 3 is Chainsaw Man at 1,137.06 million yen (≈8.47 million USD), taking into account all physical sales from its Music, Books, Novels and Manga segments with Manga being its biggest contributor for the month. That said, the strong start posted by its KICK BACK single have certainly added much power to its stellar performance, selling 300,563 copies in the first 5 days. Chainsaw Man was also on the chart the month before, placing 3rd on the list at 544.14 million yen (≈4.05 million USD), and therefore, it has seen sales worth 1,681.2 million yen (≈12.52 million USD) from September 26 to November 27.
