As of July 30, the latest volume has sold 1,457,923 copies further cementing the series’ position for the month. At Number 2 is “Oshi no Ko” at 1,090.08 million yen (≈7.47 million USD), making this its fourth monthly consecutive placement on the Top 3 list. Heavily supported by the release of its 12th volume, total sales have nudged up by 62.99% over the month before, and like One Piece, sales here took into account receipts from all of its segments with Manga being its largest contributor. All in all, this is by far the series’ best month in 2023 with cumulative sales now hitting 2,754.36 million yen (≈18.88 million USD) from April 2023 to July 2023.

Diving deeper into the performance of “Oshi no Ko”, the week between June 26 and July 2 was the third strongest week for the month as sales of its its Anime’s 1st volume added more depth to its overall portfolio, plus copies sold for the Manga having rallied, perhaps due to reprints while sales from its single Idol, despite a major drop for the week, further reinforced the series’ position, allowing it to chart 1st before succumbing to two continuous decline from July 3 to July 9 and July 10 and July 16. The introduction of its Manga’s 12th volume between July 17 and July 23 (more specifically released on July 19) pushed the overall series’ weekly performance to an all time high since the week between May 1 and May 7, climbing 151.78% to score 336.96 million yen (≈2.31 million USD) worth of sales before a retreat to 252.30 million yen (≈1.73 million USD) the week after.

Finally, we have Jujutsu Kaisen settling in at Number 3 with 770.13 million yen (≈5.28 million USD) in sales for the month, and like the two above, is mainly due to the release of its 23rd volume which saw 715,387 copies sold in its first six days and reaching 1,079,463 copies as of the July 30. As with One Piece and “Oshi no Ko” up there, all segments are considered, though sales for the series are mostly focused on its Manga department.
