Jujutsu Kaisen witnessed a massive amount of sales made ever since the release of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 back in December sitting atop at 2,429.4 million yen (≈21.14 million USD). Its weekly sales peaked between December 27 to January 2 right after the theatrical release, but has since slowed down consistently, ending the month of January at 236.1 million yen (≈2.06 million USD). Another reason for the strong performance is due to the release of Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 18, which Regular Edition has steadily placed on the top of Oricon’s Top 30 sales chart for six consecutive weeks. Lifetime sales for the volume in particular has now reached 1,681,037 copies.
