The month of December witnesses strong sales for the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby series with the release of Umayon Blu-ray Box, which is the Animated series of the 4-koma Manga featuring the series’ characters. As a matter of fact, the title was already seeing sudden reemergence of the TV Animation series’ Season 2 Blu-rays between November 22 to November 28 where the 3rd volume noted 2,658 copies sold. Copies sold were much stronger the week after with all volumes accounted for at 22,733 copies. Then, between December 6 to December 12, Umayon debuted with a massive 81,000 copies in just 5 days. In that week alone, the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby series sold a total of 103,027 copies! As such, the title was able to accumulate 1,625.3 million yen (≈14.12 million USD) in estimated sales!

Placing 3rd for the month would be Tokyo Revengers with a rise in sales revenue by 54.73% over November’s 593.40 million yen (≈5.32 million USD) to 1,310.7 million yen (≈11.38 million USD). The big improvement is thanks to the release of the Manga’s 25th volume which debuted at a strong 500,480 copies in its first 3 days. The title has also consistently placed on the Top 3 series’ charts since July, as such its second half year performance currently stands at a great 10,475.50 million yen (≈91.00 million USD), closing the year on a very positive note!
