Sales of Manga in the United States for the month of May witnessed fewer My Hero Academia volumes making onto the chart with ICv2’s list featuring only four of its volumes placed at number 5, 8, 18 and 20. The list on the other hand, is dominated mostly by Kimetsu no Yaiba volumes as it occupied 8 out of the 20 spots on the list. The second last volume of Attack on Titan is the best seller for the month of May, and Volume 34 will soon be released this coming October.

One title to note of on ICv2’s list would be Komi Can’t Communicate’s Volume 1 which is placed at the 16th spot for the month. The series is set to receive an Anime adaptation by OLM this coming Fall 2021. So, be sure to check it out!

According to Publishers Weekly, Attack on Titan‘s Volume 33 sold 23,550 copies for the month of May, but it failed to reach the level achieved by My Hero Academia‘s Volume 27 the month before, which sold 36,665 copies. At number 7 is Tasuya Endo’s Spy x Family with 14,111 copies sold for Volume 1.
The month of June will see heavyweight titles such as: Kimetsu no Yaiba Volume 22, Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 10 and My Hero Academia Volume 28 coming out, you can be sure that it will be an exciting list!
