One Piece was last seen on Publishers Weekly Top 10 monthly bestseller lists with its 100th and 102nd volumes with Volume 101 not appearing which is likely due to volatility in data reported at the time it was released and as such it did not make the list in December where it should have had done so, instead the volume was seen at Number 11 on ICv2’s Top 20 list for bestselling Manga volumes for the month of January 2023.
With all that said, a direct comparison against Volume 100 which is also in its first 33 days when it charted in August 2022, Volume 103 has noted an increase of 50.75%. Volume 102‘s 21,410 copies sold is understandably lower given its shorter days of sales of 26, however, it is quite unlikely that sales would have surpassed Volume 103’s 34,452 copies sold in its first 33 days amid Volume 102 much shorter per day sales on average.

Analysis
Kaiju No. 8‘s decline in physical sales has become even more palpable as Volume 7 failed to improve the series’ sales outcome against its previous volumes despite being at 26 days of sales. All of its volumes from 3 to 6 charted on Publishers Weekly Top 10 monthly bestsellers lists at 19 days of sales, and all of them were able to produce a higher number of copies sold than its latest. Sales fell off as can be seen from Volume 3 to Volume 4, then the decrease in subsequent sales happened albeit at a gradual pace. Against Volume 2 which shares the same number of days of sales as Volume 7, the newest volume is down by 26.94%.
