The month of July sees a rather slow week for sales of new releases in the US as older volumes dominate both the charts provided by NPD via ICv2 and Publishers Weekly. Note that it is thanks to these two wonderful sites that we get to see these charts on monthly basis, so be sure to pay them a visit right here (ICv2) and here (Publishers Weekly) and show them lots of love! The Top 20 list by ICv2 features a myriad of titles including some unexpected releases such as the first volumes of Hunter x Hunter, One-Punch Man and Naruto. My Hero Academia is still going strong in the US and one of its related titles, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is placed 11th for the week. The 10th volume is the sole new release to have made onto the chart for the month of July, and its following volume is expected to hit shelves in the first week of November 2021.

Here, Chainsaw Man is certainly on a roll. The month before, we got to see the 5th volume raking 37,846 copies sold in the US, and Volume 1 is up 26.92% from Volume 5’s performance (in June) as it hits 51,790 copies sold for the month of July. This coincides with the release of Chainsaw Man Anime adaptation trailer which was released near the end of the month. If you have not seen the trailer yet, do check it out down below!
My Hero Academia‘s 28th volume is down 58.26% to 21,325 copies, putting its two-month sales at 72,421 copies sold. Both Uzumaki (No. 4) and Attack on Titan Volume 1 (No. 5) have also slid by 21.49% and 28.00% from the month before as they end the month of July with 13,842 copies and 13,719 copies sold respectively. The month of July is certainly a weaker one than the performance we saw in the month of June. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
