Looks like we are finally getting back data on units sold for some titles for the month of May as Publishers Weekly has publicly disclosed the numbers on their site here.
This time around I have included two charts as to not confuse people. First we have the Top 20 Manga sold in the U.S. by ICv2. You may notice some kind of discrepancies with the ranks displayed on ICv2 and Publishers Weekly. This is due to the periods tracked by the two are different. Publishers Weekly tracked comics sold for the five-week ending on May 30 while ICv2 tracked data for Manga sold from May 3 to May 30 (4 weeks). Therefore, the outcome is a little dissimilar. Nevertheless, we can expect the two charts to converge for the month of June.
It is thanks to these two that we get to see these charts, so be sure to pay them a visit and show them your support!
As usual, My Hero Academia remains popular in the U.S. occupying ten out of the twenty spots in the chart by ICv2. Demon Slayer according to ICv2, tops the chart for the month of May. It is trailed by two volumes of My Hero Academia at number 2 and 3 respectively.
