Switch consoles took the largest slice of pie as it sold 152,284 units in total, down by 2.46% the prior week, taking up 81.70% of the total market share. PlayStation 5 consoles slipped 45.34% to 27,835 units from the 50,920 units they sold the week before, however, its PlayStation 4 console marked an 89.68% increase in sales to close the week on a very positive note at 4,211 units. Xbox Series consoles were on quite the low side with only 1,854 units sold throughout the week, a drop of 84.47% while New 2DS LL climbed 70.77% to 111 units from 65 units.

The software sales chart welcomed two new releases with Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope at 17,647 copies sold in its first 3 days. Developed by Ubisoft, and like its predecessors, the game features a crossover from Mario franchise and Ubisoft’s Rabbids series. More about the game can be learned from its gameplay trailer below.
