As for software sales, Splatoon 3 continues its dominance with a further 506,610 copies sold in Japan, pushing its physical year to date sales so far to above 2 million copies.
Then, the Top 10 sees two new faces with Dragon Quest X Offline taking three out of the ten spots at a total of 220,307 copies sold in its first 4 days for its Switch and PlayStation editions with its Switch edition taking a strong lead over the other two. Note that the title is also available on PC. The single player standalone is based on the online version which has been redesigned with characters of the game made to look smaller and the maps had to correspond to the changes made to fit the characters (Source: Wiki). You can learn more about the title by watching its promotional video below.
Then, we have Trinity Trigger making its Switch debut at Number 7 on the list at 6,698 copies sold in its first 4 days. The action RPG game revolves around the character Cyan who was chosen by the gods to be a “Warrior of Chaos”. He is then later joined with two other characters Elise and Zantis to save the world and to perhaps… defy the gods (Source: XSEED)?
