Individual units sold for video game hardware have nearly all recorded a drop week-over-week, though high skews in sales experienced by Switch OLED and PlayStation 4 over their sales the week before have allowed better results overall for their respective brands as of the end the week. This has caused Switch consoles total units sold closing 95.02% more to 110,241 units from 56,528 units whilst PlayStation 4 is 141.13% higher at 1,020 units from 423 units.
With both of its consoles reporting fewer units sold, PlayStation 5 is down by 26.54% to 33,754 units, though lifetime sales in Japan is expected to hit the 4.5 million mark the following week. The Xbox Series noted a major contraction in sales of 78.03% to 995 units and New 2DS LL’s 21 units sold for the week is 22.22% less than the week before.
