Sales of consoles continue to slow down after reporting a slight climb the week before with the PlayStation 5 machines being hit the hardest. Both editions reported their worst drop ever since May 16 as cumulative sales for the week between November 8 to November 14 nosedived by 51.48% week-on-week to 4,910 units from 10,120 units. Switch Lite, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4 and New 2DS LL all recorded weaker unit sales performance whereas only Switch, Switch OLED and Xbox Series X saw better units sold.

There are only two new releases that made onto the Top 10 chart for the week with the fifth installment of the Shin Megami Tensei series, Shin Megami Tensei V leading the troupe with a strong 143,247 copies sold. The game revolves around a high school student who is suddenly thrust into an emergency situation where the school he attended is attacked by demons. Note that the game is also out globally, and do check out its official trailer below to get your feet a little wet before jumping right in!
The second new release belongs to Dragon Quest X: Tensei no Eiyuu-tachi Online which places both 3rd and 5th places with a total of 34,493 copies sold in total for its Switch and PlayStation 4 editions. This would be the 6th expansion of the Dragon Quest X game of which more information can be found via its official trailer down below.
