Japan Top Weekly Video Game Ranking: November 6 – November 12, 2023

The PlayStation 5 has noted a strong upturn in units sold after several weeks of consecutive decline, climbing nearly 9000% or about 90 times more week-over-week to close at a total of 107,953 units sold from previous week’s 1,217 units—which could be result of a restock. As Switch consoles slowed down across the board and at 29.46% weaker than the prior week’s week performance of 93,252 units, this allows the PlayStation 5 brand to occupy most of the market share of consoles sold in Japan for the week between November 6 and November 12.

As for the others, the Xbox Series and New 2DS LL fell 45.58% and 4.17% to end at 2,578 units and 23 units sold respectively whilst the PlayStation 4 experienced a small 1.84% increase in units sold to 1,330 units from 1,306 units recorded the week before.
