Switch consoles continue to stay on top of the chart at 65,322 units sold for the week with sales of its OLED edition leading the trio at 35,868 units. The PlayStation 5 noted a weak turnout for the week with both of its consoles combined at only 2,693 units sold. The Xbox Series has outpaced sales of PlayStation 5 thanks to strong sales of its Series S consoles at 6,120 units, together with Series X, it had a total of 6,225 units sold. Sales of PlayStation 4 vanilla edition were at 22 units for the week while New 2DS LL sales were at 235 units. Note that there is no week-to-week comparison for the week between May 9 and May 15 for hardware sales, but the comparisons will be back the following week.

As for sales of software, all the past titles on the Top 10 are down from the week before with one new release breaching the list at Number 7. Square Enix’s live-action mystery-solving game, The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story is at 6,409 copies sold in its first 4 days for its Switch edition. The title is also out on other platforms such as the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 and on Steam.
