Resident Evil Village certainly did well in its first week with both PS4 and PS5 editions managed a combined sales of 149,884 copies sold. That is only for the consoles market. Capcom also announced on May 11 that the the company has shipped 3 million units of the game worldwide (source: Capcom).

Sales have slowed down quite a lot after Golden Week ended on May 5th with all titles in the Top 10 have experienced a decline. Minecraft is the sole title to have witnessed a decent climb over the week. Monster Hunter Rise, Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban! and Animal Crossing: New Horizons have been experiencing continuous drop in sales for awhile now, but have recovered slightly due to the holiday season.

Nevertheless, the entrance of Resident Evil Village and New Pokémon Snap have caused Animal Crossing: New Horizons to lose its place in the Top 10 for the week. Though, I suspect it will climb back up the week after. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
