All green for PlayStation consoles for the week between May 24 to May 30 as PlayStation 5 machines witnessed 63.56% and 29.98% jump in sales respectively to see a total of 39,324 units sold for the week. PlayStation 4 climbed nearly 50% to end the week at 2,562 units whereas New 2DS LL recorded a 11.53% improvement over the week before from 376 units to 425 units. Switch and Xbox machines have all slid with Series S facing a sharp drop in units sold from 637 units the previous week to 156 units.

The Top 10 chart for Video Game software welcomed the new release by THQ Nordic, Biomutant which made its debut with 24,596 copies sold. Both Miitopia and Rune Factory 5 reported massive drops with the latter being more severe. However, the week’s sales have allowed Miitopia to push past 100,000 copies sold. Minecraft is the only title increasing week-to-week by 10.95% from prior week’s 10,361 copies as the rest stumbled. Resident Evil Village‘s one month sale for its PlayStation 4 edition has accumulated 173,132 copies sold, and Ring Fit Adventure‘s sales have passed 2.6 million copies in Japan.
