The week between July 18 and July 24 witnessed the entries of two new releases on the Top 10 list. The HD-2D remake of the classic 1994 role-playing game, Live A Live has a great start of 71,137 copies in its first 3 days. Originally developed by Square (as it was known at the time), the game was re-released in 2015 for the Wii U’s Virtual Console in Japan and a full HD-2D remake was then announced in February this year. The game features seven chapters, each with a different setting and characters. After the seventh chapter play-through is completed, you will then be thrust into the final act of the game that will then link all the seven chapters, which would finally end the story (Source: Wikia). If you are curious to see as to what was done to the game, do check out its trailer down below!
Then, we have Nobunaga no Yabou Shinsei taking two spots with the PlayStation 4 edition overtaking the Switch edition at Number 3 with 23,425 copies sold whereas the latter can be found at Number 5 with 21,753 copies. Together, that would be 45,178 copies sold in total in its first 4 days. The game is a turn-based strategy that was first released in 1983 and takes place during the Japanese Warring States period. More about the game can be learned from its latest promotional video of which can be watched below.
