Impressive sales are noted for Switch consoles as it ends the month of January with 99,078 units sold, a 22.06% increase over previous week’s 77,219 units. The vanilla edition of the PlayStation 5 console reports another jump to see 21,871 units sold whereas the Digital Edition is down by slightly more than 50%. The Xbox Series is sluggish for the week with both versions retreating by 32.22% and 40.62% each, and the same can be observed for PlayStation 4 vanilla and New 2DS LL.

It is looking very good for Nintendo’s latest addition to the Pokémon series. Pokémon Legends: Arceus registers an astounding 1,424,657 copies in its first 3 days which is a tad bit better than copies sold of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Pokémon Sword and Shield by 2.04% and 4.22% respectively (within the same number of days). This time around, the game has a more fully open world when compared to the series before with your usual start of three Pokémon to choose from.
