Xbox Series X posted a big jump as week-on-week sales for the machine saw numbers up by 90.69% with 1,429 units sold, while Xbox Series S stumbled 40.21% after a rise it experienced the week before. In total, both Xbox Series sold 1,487 units for the week, up 84.53%. Sales for PS5 machines had another good week with both editions appreciate 28.57% and 5.27% respectively, putting the cumulative sales for the week at 33,838 units sold. Sales for the machines have been on an upward path since the start of February with 95,289 units sold for the month alone. It sold only 61,788 units in January.

As for sales of software, the chart welcomed three new releases onto its list with Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town taking the crown. The title sold 202,396 copies for the week, whereas Bravely Default 2 trails far, with 93,061 copies sold as it had to be content with 2nd placing. Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban! continued to slide as sales are down 2.16% for the title. It ended the week with 40,610 copies. Sales for the month of February stands at 185,039 copies, down 49.49% from the month of January where it sold 366,306 copies.
Other than that, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Minecraft are all up for the week, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Ring Fit Adventure and Animal Crossing: New Horizons fell week-on-week. The full list is as follows:
