PlayStation 5 consoles has overtaken sales of Nintendo Switch for the third time in a row as it led market share for the week at 60.8% with total units sold for both the vanilla and digital editions at 88,653 units sold, 5.26% down week-on-week. All of Switch’s versions dragged from the week before by 11.14% to end lower at 48,896 units from previous week’s 55,025 units, taking up 33.5% of the share. The Xbox Series on the other hand, witnessed a significant climb in sales, closing at 6,600 units, up by 67.73% from 3,935 units sold the week before. Finally, PlayStation 4 recorded a 41.79% increase in sales to 1,581 units whereas New 2DS LL settled at 79 units, 13.19% fewer units sold than last week’s 91 units.

The week sees three new releases on the Top 10 with Koei Tecmo’s Wild Hearts leading among them at 26,905 copies sold in the first 3 days. Then, the remastered edition of the 2003 role-playing video game, Tales of Symphonia was placed 4th at 21,860 copies in the first 4 days. Note that the game is also out on the PlayStation. Square Enix’s Theatrhythm Final Bar Line took up two spots at Number 6 and 8 with total copies sold at 19,068 copies in its first 4 days.
