Sales of Switch consoles ballooned the two-week period between December 21 to January 3 with sales of both of its editions reaching 590,294 units! Sales for PS5 and its Digital Deluxe Edition are decent while Xbox Series continues to disappoint. No percentage differences week-on-week as the total weekly sales encapsulates the two-week period.

Please note that sales of Xbox One S, Xbox One X and New 3DS LL have been omitted from Famitsu’s chart, all sales are for the two-week period between December 21, 2020 to January 3, 2020.
Software on the other hand features some interesting outcome. Sales of Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban! achieved 459,243 copies for the two-week period, putting the lifetime sales above the 1 million mark edging the title closer to 1.5 million sales which should be achievable the following week. Sales of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe passes 3.5 million copies, at the same time Super Smash Bros. Ultimate went beyond 4 million copies. Pikmin 3 Deluxe is an inch closer to reaching a lifetime sales of 500,000 copies. I shall keep you guys here no longer, the full list is as follows:
