Note: Famitsu skipped publishing sales data on the 11th and 12th of August this month due to the Obon Festival and as such, the hardware sales will not be available for the separate charts. You can refer to the two-week post here for hardware sold between August 1 and August 14.
There were no new releases for the week between August 8 and August 14 on the Top 30, though many titles have seen improvement in sales, most likely driven by the holiday spirit. Nintendo Switch Sports overtakes Xenoblade Chronicles 3 to place 1st on the list as copies sold went up 30.60% to 30,526 while the latter stumbled four spots below to Number 5 with a further drop of 51.22% week-on-week. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is 2nd at 16,297 copies sold while Hoshi no Kirby Discovery is 3rd at 14,822 copies.
