Sales have pretty much improved across the board for video games the week between August 3 to August 9 in Japan according to Famitsu here, most likely driven by the long Obon holiday period in Japan.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons had a good run that week selling more than 100,000 copies in Japan. It tops the chart for the week as the title edges closer to the 5.5 million copies sold mark. Ring Fit Adventure too showed good sales after seeing number of copies sold increased by almost 45% on a week-to-week basis, bringing its lifetime sales to more than 1.3 million copies sold. At number 3 is Ghost of Tsushima. Although the improvement is small, it saw its numbers crossing the 300,000 copies sold mark. The full list is as follows:
