Sales for Switch consoles pushes through as Japan welcomes its soon to begin summer holiday. The two consoles rise as much as 13.88% and 12.34% respectively accumulating 72,773 units sold for the week. PlayStation 4 is another console which records a climb, improving 15.75% week-on-week as it ends the week with 1,435 units sold. The rest on the list has witnessed a drop in sales with both PlayStation 5 Digital Edition and Xbox Series S plunging the hardest. Total sales for PlayStation 5 stand at 13,530 units while the Xbox Series are at 1,069 units.

The approaching summer holiday has certainly sent software sales flying as majority of the titles listed face decent growth. The week’s chart is led by Minecraft at 14,912 copies sold. The title has also breached 2.1 million copies sold in Japan, and sales are expected to continue to be strong for more time to come. The title has so far amassed 361,962 copies sold in Japan, peaking at 19,933 copies on the first week of January.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD (No. 2) and Nabi-tsuki! Tsukutte Wakaru Hajimete Game Programming (No. 10) are the only titles on the Top 10 that fell week-on-week.
