After skipping the previous week (due to the Golden Week celebration), Famitsu is back this time around with sales charts that encompasses two weeks’ worth of data, hence, there will be no week-on-week comparisons for hardware while the comparisons for software will be made tomorrow once the charts are out for the Top 30. The week between August 1 and August 14 saw Switch sold a massive 153,822 units accounting for 73.4% of the total market share followed by PlayStation 5 at 46,600 units, 22.2% of the total market share whereas Xbox Series maintains as the third best-selling console at 8,703 units, 4.2% of the market share.

There are no new releases for software during the two weeks. Nintendo Switch Sports takes the top spot with 53,900 copies sold while Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is the 2nd best-selling title at 39,529 copies sold, bringing its year-to-date sales to 152,257 copies. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is 3rd at 29,276 copies sold. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
