There we go, Golden Week certainly help boost copies sold for Video Game Software the week between April 26 to May 2 with little impact felt from the State of Emergency announced in Japan. All titles in the Top 10 saw copies sold up, though previous week’s champion, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… stumbled three places to number 4. Sales have fallen 76.48% week-on-week to 25,601 copies sold. The lifetime sales for the title now stand at 134,439 copies for the PS4 version.

New Pokémon Snap leads the chart with a comfortable 147,742 copies sold for the week. The list also features two new titles other than New Pokémon Snap. R-Type Final 2‘s PS4 and Switch Editions are at number 12 and 17 respectively while Returnal settles for the 15th place. More analyses will in the May 3 to May 9 post.
