The week between April 25 and May 1 saw most past titles recording a jump in sales, a common occurrence that happens when the Golden Week holiday approaches. The biggest climb on the Top 10 is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at 19,253 copies sold, up by 38.34% week-on-week. Konami’s eBASEBALL Powerful Pro Baseball 2022 recorded fewer copies sold for the week as both editions fell nearly or more than 60%.

Nintendo Switch Sports, a title which was discussed in the post that encapsulated sales between April 25 and May 8 made its debut at 189,889 copies sold in the first 3 days. There are two other new releases on the Top 30 chart including TASOMACHI: Behind the Twilight’s console editions placing 16th and 26th at a combined 5,672 copies sold while the Switch edition for Ikemen Sengoku: Romances Across Time – Arata naru Deai is found at Number 20 at 3,066 copies sold.
